Cody Nickson is a decorated U.S. Marine Corps and Air Force veteran, a Believer in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a devoted husband and father, a successful small business owner, and a proud Texan.
After 10 years in the military, with combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Cody transitioned to entrepreneurship, building one of the most successful personal training companies in Texas. As the founder and operator of a business that helps thousands of clients every year, he understands firsthand the challenges Texas families and small business owners face, from rising property taxes to government overreach.
He and his wife Jessica have built their family in Texas, raising six daughters with a sixth daughter on the way. Together, they are active in their faith, passionate about their love of God, freedom, and the future of Texas values.
Cody is running for the TX30 congressional seat to do what career politicians like Jasmine Crockett, and states won’t: eliminate property taxes, restore the money and freedom that is rightfully the Texas homeowner's, and represent the will of the people, not the government.
Drawing on his military leadership, entrepreneurial experience, and deep commitment to liberty, Cody brings a fresh voice to the U.S. Congress. He’s not there to climb the political ladder, he’s there to tear it down and rebuild it in service to the people.
Representative Crockett supports the radical gender policies being pushed from Washington, policies that erase biological distinctions, allow men to compete in women’s sports, and bring gender ideology into classrooms. I believe our daughters deserve fairness, privacy, and safety, and that parents, not the government, should shape their children’s values and upbringing. I will fight to protect women’s sports, preserve biological truth in law and education, and stop the forced indoctrination of children with gender ideology. Every Texan deserves respect, but no child should be used as a political experiment.
North Texas thrives when government gets out of the way. Jasmine Crockett’s big-government policies focus on redistribution and federal control, not empowerment. I believe in cutting red tape, lowering taxes, and unleashing small business growth. We can create new jobs, attract investment, and help working families keep more of what they earn. Our community deserves opportunity, not dependency.
Families in our district are being taxed out of their homes. While Crockett votes for higher spending and larger federal budgets, I’m focused on shrinking government waste and protecting homeowners. We can chart a responsible course toward phasing out property taxes without raising sales taxes, allowing Texans to own their homes outright and build generational wealth. Since state governments won't do this, we need to pass a law at the federal level limiting this government welfare system of property taxes. Government should serve the people, not drain them.
Texas is an energy powerhouse, yet federal Democrats like Jasmine Crockett push climate mandates that destroy jobs and drive up costs. I’ll fight to keep Texas energy-strong, supporting innovation while protecting oil, gas, and reliable power for our families. Energy independence is national security. We can lead the future of energy, on our terms, not Washington’s.
While Crockett’s policies side with “reimagining” policing, I stand with those who protect our families. Every Texan deserves to feel safe in their home, school, and community. I will work to fund, not defund, law enforcement and border security, ensure violent criminals are held accountable, and restore respect for law and order. Safety is the foundation of freedom, without it, nothing else works.
